Week 2 of the college football season feature some intense match ups, such as Georgia vs. South Carolina and Michigan vs. Notre Dame. That is right where we will start with this week's breakdown. Number 11 Georgia finally knocked off 6th ranked South Carolina, avoiding a second straight loss. It was a high scoring affair that seemed to raise more questions about Jadeveon Clowney and all of the hype around him. In other news unranked Miami toppled 12th ranked Florida, in what was a mess of a game for UF. Florida looked absolutely terrible on offense and the crowd let them know with raucous chants of overrated echoing throughout the stadium. Keeping with the upset theme, BYU knocked off 15th ranked Texas in a 19 point drubbing. Washington State squeaked one out against 25th ranked USC in an offensive thriller 10 - 7. Full sarcasm intended. Finally in the big game of the day 17th Michigan downed rival 14th ranked Notre Dame. In addition this week lacked the FCS stunning upsets of FBS schools that dominated the headlines of week one. All in all everything seems very status quo in the college football world. With one exception, the ACC is 2-2 against the SEC thus far this season. With the two losses coming from top ranked schools against unranked schools and the two wins coming from lower or unranked schools defeating higher ranked schools. Meaning, the top talent of the SEC is struggling against top to middle of the road talent from the ACC thus far. Granted, it is early in the season but so far the SEC appears less than dominant.
